Dr Ismat Jahan is a distinguished Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over a decade of medical experience, specializing in advanced gynecological surgeries, infertility treatments, and pelvic reconstructive procedures. She earned her FCPS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from the Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2019, following her MBBS from Ibrahim Medical College in 2009. Her surgical expertise encompasses both open and laparoscopic techniques, along with specialized training in hysteroscopy and colposcopy.
Currently, Dr Jahan serves as an Assistant Professor at Dhaka Central International Medical College & Hospital (DCIMCH), where she integrates her clinical practice with academic leadership. She is deeply involved in training resident doctors, delivering lectures, and leading research projects, which have resulted in multiple publications. She is also a frequent presenter at national and international medical conferences, contributing to the advancement of obstetrics and gynaecology.
A committed professional, Dr Jahan holds life memberships in the Obstetrical & Gynaecological Society of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Menopause Society, and Bangladesh College of Physicians & Surgeons.
