Hannah Beckwith is a final year Nephrology trainee at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, and a post-doctoral Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Women and Children’s Health at Kings College London.
She has a strong research interest in the complex bidirectional interplay between ovarian function / female sex hormones, cardio-renal disease, and inflammation. She authored the UKKA / Kidney Care UK Patient information leaflet on Women’s Health and Chronic Kidney Disease and has been invited to join the FSRH guideline committee on contraceptive safety.
She is absolutely delighted to have been awarded a Young Scholars Bursary to enable her to attend the World Congress on Menopause. She is looking forward to the lectures, symposia and workshops planned and hopes that her diverse background will help foster interdisciplinary discussions and cross-specialty collaborations.
