Being the active member in different capacities and in representative role, she could do extensive Networking with esteemed organizations (IMS, BMS, NAMS, EMAS, SAFOMS, APMF, FIGO) .
- Pioneer of First Menopause Clinic in Rajasthan, (1997) and established first HRT research unit in India with foundation of first chapter of IMS, created modules for GP’s and UG’s on “Mid-life women health curriculum and Management of Menopause”, in use across the country (more than 500 Medical Institutions), Inducted credentialed Indian Menopause Practitioner Exam (CIMP) and organized first convocation.
- Founder Editor “Journal of Midlife Health” (JMH) and Member of Scientific Advisory Board of various Journals of high impact factor. Published Several Scientific papers on menopausal health care modalities, menopausal medicine, contributed chapters, peer reviewed publications and co-author of Clinical Practice Guidelines of Indian Menopause Society.
- Received Advanced training of Menopause Management (Detroit), Laparoscopy (Stanford) U.S.A. and Lectured Widely as invited Speaker, chaired session, delivered orations at National and International Platforms (USA, Europe, Asia). Organized various Scientific CME, workshops and national/ international Conferences.

In the area of social healthcare services, she has culminated her skills to serve the poor and aging population and improving health care system. For the comprehensive wellbeing of elderly Indian women, developed risk Score tools for bone health, cancers and heart disease, set protocols and WHQ, for assessment and promoted management on evidence-based medicine; also contributed several articles in health columns of leading Newspapers and delivered T.V. talk-shows, released health education tools; CDs, leaflets, posters and Booklet on “Stay Healthy After 40”. With the help of NGO’s holding regularly exhibitions, free rural and urban camps, group support sessions for counselling, research data collection, screening (cancer, CAD, Obesity, Osteoporosis) and solving problems and clearing myths linked to menopause. Being the executive producer of IMS documentary Film- “Sumangla” and initiating Magazine “POISE”, she could bring a positive change in women to age gracefully. Recently, initiated unique TOT (training for trainers) Menopausal Health care program for Primary Health care workers serving rural women in India.
As past President Indian Menopause Society in a leadership role, Representative to International Menopause Society of IMS for 3 years and Secretary General CAMS (2014-16), Board member (2016-18,20-22) International Menopause Society, received applause for her dedicated work in assigned areas, for incredibly effective yearly world menopause month campaign (highlighted in “our menopause world” Newsletter, on the IMS website, CAMS network website) which has galvanised countries to use the IMS resources. She has contributed slide kits for website, written Commentaries for “Menopause Live” and also served as abstract reviewer for world congress. She has participated in workshop for Global consensus on HRT, APMF collaborative project on NCD’s, CAMS and COMMA project. As ambassador, acted efficiently for world congress to attract maximum participation, raised memberships and also successfully organised IMS symposium at APMF, EMAS and SAFOMS conferences, for exchanging experiences and disseminating knowledge.
As Treasurer International Menopause Society (2018-20), an executive Board Member, she was able to strengthen the organisation with strategic planning, policy making, ensuring its financial viability within rules to pursue its objectives and assisting in achieving goals. Presently serving also as an advisor Member for Menopause Info Committee of IMS.
