About ASBOCLIM

The Asociación Boliviana de Climaterio y Menopausia, ASBOCLIM, founded in 1993, is the premier professional, non-profit, membership organization dedicated to the prevention and promotion of women’s health care through midlife, climacteric and beyond, through the understanding of the physiology of menopausal transition and providing the highest quality and evidence-based treatment of its related symptoms, with the mission of improving women’s quality of life through healthy ageing.

Since ASBOCLIM’s foundation, it has been developing a Continuous Medical Education program, producing practice guidelines, online courses, regional and annual meetings for health care professionals, as well as educational materials for the community, promoting programs and initiatives to improve women’s health, and advocating for members and their patients.

With approximate 300 members, ASBOCLIM includes colleagues from every region of Bolivia, through their delegates, who assess women’s specific needs within their local communities.

ASBOCLIM multidisciplinary members are board-certified gynecologists, obstetricians, clinicians, endocrinologists, cardiologists, and every other professional whose activities are devoted to women’s health care and who have attained high ethical and academic standing.

MISSION
To be a multidisciplinary Bolivian medical association with the purpose of turning it into an academic space of reference for all health professionals who are dedicated to the care of women in their important stage of the Climacteric to provide them with quality care in accordance with updated protocols. of its diagnosis and management.

VISION
We intend to be a multidisciplinary association and be a reference entity for professionals dedicated to climacteric health care. This at a local and national level to provide quality and updated care to our population of this age.
